Impact Initiatives
OUR COMMITMENT
At BlackVogel. Consulting, we are deeply committed to driving sustainability and social impact across all our projects.
We play a leading role in the EU Blockchain Manifesto, where we coordinate Pillar 2: Sustainability and Social Impact. This manifesto is an advocacy initiative in Europe dedicated to advancing blockchain regulation in a holistic manner, with Pillar 2 specifically advocating for the adoption of blockchain technology as a powerful tool to enhance sustainability and social impact worldwide.
Since 2021, we have been at the forefront of the Social Impact and Sustainability Working Group (SISWG) at INATBA, actively shaping the dialogue between industry and regulators on the responsible use of blockchain technology and how to harness its potential.
Furthermore, as founding members and steering committee members of BC100+, we are committed to aligning blockchain technology with the United Nations Charter and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, promoting equity and inclusion across all sectors.
Our Work and Contributions
BC100+
BC100+ is a global initiative, under the High Patronage of H.E. Csaba Kőrösi, President of the 77th UN General Assembly, convening the blockchain ecosystem to the broader efforts of UN agencies and global initatives in support of the UN Charter values and the SDGs.
SISWG INATBA
The Social Impact and Sustainability Working Group works on identifying tools and frameworks to tackle global challenges and ensure a prosperous, sustainable, and equitable world for future generations.
MANIFESTO PILLAR II
The EU Blockchain Manifesto represents a collective effort to shape the future of blockchain technology within the European Union. As a member of the Board of Directors of INATBA and one of the leaders of this initiative, together with Blockchain for Europe, the European Blockchain Initiative, and the European Crypto Initiative, we work to ensure that blockchain innovation is guided by ethical principles and regulatory frameworks that foster transparency, security, and social good throughout Europe.
SUSTAINABILITY ROUNDTABLES
The Roundtable is a collaborative initiative aimed at exploring the intersection of blockchain technology and sustainability. This roundtable will bring together key stakeholders from the blockchain industry, sustainability experts, and policymakers to discuss actionable strategies for leveraging blockchain to address pressing environmental challenges.
